FlightMemo ("we", "our", or "us") operates the FlightMemo iOS application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

Personal Data
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password. If you sign in via Apple or Google, we receive only the verified identifier from that provider — we never see or store your third-party password.

Flight Log Data
You may create entries recording airline, flight number, departure/arrival airports, dates, seat, cabin class, fare, aircraft type, booking reference, and notes. This data is stored locally on your device and synced to our servers when you are signed in.

Usage Data
We collect basic analytics (app opens, feature usage) to improve the App. This data is not linked to your identity.

To sync data across your devices via your account
To improve App features and user experience
To respond to your inquiries via email

3. Data Storage & Security

Your flight logs are stored locally using on-device databases (SwiftData) and synced to our secure cloud servers. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and associated data at any time through the App settings.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal data to third parties. We may share anonymized, aggregate data for analytics purposes. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Third-Party Services

Sign-in with Apple and Sign-in with Google are handled by Apple and Google respectively, subject to their own privacy policies. We do not collect or store any credentials from these services beyond the verified identifier.

6. Your Rights

You may access, update, or delete your account and flight logs at any time via the App settings. To request deletion of your data, email us at andeceshi@icloud.com — we will respond within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
